MAX3001EEUP

The MAX3001EEUP is an 8-channel bidirectional voltage level translator designed by Analog Devices (formerly Maxim Integrated). This device facilitates data transfer in multivoltage systems by allowing logic signals to shift between different voltage levels. The externally applied voltages, VCC and VL, set the logic levels on either side of the device. Logic signals on the VL side appear as a higher voltage signal on the VCC side, and vice versa.

Key specifications include a guaranteed data rate of 4Mbps, making it suitable for various communication interfaces. It operates over a wide voltage range, accepting VL voltages from +1.2V to +5.5V and VCC voltages from +1.65V to +5.5V. This flexibility makes it ideal for data transfer between low-voltage ASICs/PLDs and higher voltage systems.

The MAX3001EEUP is available in a 20-TSSOP package, suitable for surface mounting. It operates within an ambient temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. The device also features ±15kV ESD protection on the I/O VCC lines for enhanced durability in applications where signals are routed externally. Additionally, it offers ultra-low supply current in shutdown mode (0.1µA) and low quiescent current (<10µA).
