The MAX2092ETP+ is a monolithic SiGe BiCMOS analog variable-gain amplifier (VGA) designed for 50 Ohm systems operating from 700MHz to 2700MHz. It features a gain range of +18.1dB to -22.3dB, a noise figure of 5.2dB, and an OIP3 linearity of +32.5dBm, making it suitable for various receiver and transmitter applications.
This device operates from a single +5V supply and is housed in a compact 20-pin TQFN package measuring 5mm x 5mm with an exposed pad for improved heat dissipation. Electrical performance is guaranteed over an extended temperature range of -40°C to +95°C.
Key features include a wide RF bandwidth, integrated error amplifier and alarm circuit for simplified ALC operation, and power-down capability to lower power consumption. The MAX2092ETP+ is ideal for applications such as microwave point-to-point receivers and transmitters, RF variable-gain stages, cellular applications, WiMAX, and LTE.
Mounting is via surface mount technology. The device is supplied in a 20-WQFN exposed pad package.
