MAX20327EWL+T

The MAX20327EWL+T is an ultra-small, double-pole/double-throw (DPDT) analog switch from Analog Devices, designed for distortion-free signaling. It offers Beyond-the-Rails™ capability, allowing analog signals from -5.5V to +12V to pass without distortion, even when the power supply is below the signal range. This makes it suitable for low-distortion switching applications such as audio or video.

The device operates from a single +1.6V to +5.5V power supply and features a low on-resistance of 0.2Ω (typical). The total harmonic distortion plus noise is a mere 0.001% (typical). When power is not applied, the switches enter a high-impedance mode, and all analog signal ports can withstand signals from -5.5V to +5.5V. The MAX20327EWL+T is controlled by a single control bit (CB).

This analog switch is available in a compact 1.6mm x 1.6mm, 0.4mm pitch, 9-bump wafer-level package (WLP). It is fully specified to operate over the -40°C to +85°C extended temperature range. Applications include cell phones, tablets, portable audio/video equipment, and portable navigation devices.
