The MAX2009ETI+ is an adjustable RF predistorter designed to enhance power amplifier (PA) adjacent-channel power rejection (ACPR). It achieves this by introducing gain and phase expansion to compensate for PA gain and phase compression.
This IC supports a frequency range of 1200MHz to 2500MHz and can provide up to 12dB of ACPR improvement. It features independent controls for gain and phase expansion, offering up to 7dB of gain expansion and 24° of phase expansion. The device can handle input power levels up to +23dBm.
Designed for applications such as WCDMA/UMTS, cdma2000, DCS1800, and PCS1900 base stations, as well as WLAN and military applications, the MAX2009ETI+ operates on a single +5V supply with low power consumption. It is housed in a compact 28-pin thin QFN exposed pad package (5mm x 5mm) and is specified for an extended temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
