The MAX19985AETX+T is a high-linearity, dual-channel, downconversion mixer designed for diversity receiver applications. It covers a 700MHz to 1000MHz RF frequency range with an optimized LO frequency range of 900MHz to 1300MHz, making it suitable for cellular and new 700MHz bands. This mixer offers a typical conversion gain of 8.7dB, a noise figure of 9.0dB, and an Input IP3 of +25.5dBm.
Integrated components include two double-balanced passive mixer cores, LO buffers, a dual-input LO selectable switch, and differential IF output amplifiers. On-chip baluns support single-ended RF and LO inputs. The device requires a nominal LO drive of 0dBm and operates from a single +5.0V or +3.3V supply, with typical supply currents of 330mA at +5.0V and 280mA at +3.3V.
The MAX19985AETX+T is available in a 6mm x 6mm, 36-pin thin QFN package with an exposed pad, suitable for surface mounting. Electrical performance is guaranteed over an extended temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. It is pin compatible with the MAX19995/MAX19995A series and pin similar to the MAX19997A/MAX19999 series, allowing for common PCB layouts across multiple frequency bands.
