MAX1614EUA

The MAX1614EUA by Analog Devices is a high-side, n-channel MOSFET switch driver designed for battery power-switching applications in portable equipment. It integrates a micropower regulator and charge pump to generate the necessary high-side drive voltage without external components.

This device features a 1.5% accurate low-battery comparator, useful for indicating low battery conditions or providing power-fail warnings. It also includes an internal latch for pushbutton on/off control with very low current consumption. The MAX1614EUA operates with a 5V to 26V input voltage range and requires no external components for its core function.

Available in a space-saving 8-uMAX package, the MAX1614EUA is suitable for compact designs. Its low power consumption, with off-mode current at only 6μA and normal operation requiring less than 25μA, helps extend battery life.
