MAX16053AUT+T

The MAX16053AUT+T is a versatile supervisory circuit from Analog Devices, part of the MAX16052/MAX16053 family. It is designed for high-voltage monitoring and sequencing applications, offering flexibility with an adjustable voltage threshold and an external capacitor-adjustable time delay. This device is ideal for power-supply sequencing, reset sequencing, and power switching applications.

The circuit operates from a wide supply voltage range of 2.25V to 28V and features an active-high enable input. The input has a high-impedance with a 0.5V threshold, allowing an external resistive divider to set the monitored threshold. The output asserts high when the input voltage rises above the threshold and the enable input is high. Conversely, the output deasserts when the input voltage falls below 0.495V or the enable input is low. A capacitor-programmable delay is provided from when the input voltage rises above 0.5V to when the output is asserted.

Available in a compact 6-pin SOT23 package, the MAX16053AUT+T is fully specified over the automotive temperature range of -40°C to +125°C, ensuring reliability in extreme conditions. Its low supply current of 18µA typical minimizes power consumption, making it suitable for portable equipment and critical μP monitoring.
