The MAX16052AUT+T by Analog Devices is a versatile, low-power, high-voltage monitoring circuit designed for power-supply sequencing, reset sequencing, and power switching applications. It offers flexibility with an adjustable voltage threshold, set via an external resistive divider on the IN pin, and a capacitor-adjustable time delay.
This device operates over a wide supply voltage range of 2.25V to 28V. The output asserts high when the input voltage rises above the 0.5V threshold and the enable input is high. Conversely, the output deasserts when the input voltage falls below 0.495V or the enable input is de-asserted. The MAX16052 variant features an active-high open-drain output, suitable for interfacing with higher voltage buses.
Designed for reliability, the MAX16052AUT+T is fully specified over the automotive temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. Its small 6-pin SOT-23 package makes it ideal for space-constrained designs. With a typical supply current of 18µA, it also contributes to low-power consumption in various applications including medical equipment, intelligent instruments, and critical microprocessor monitoring.
