The MAX16029TG+T is a versatile dual-/triple-/quad-voltage monitor and sequencer designed for multivoltage applications. It offers fixed and adjustable voltage thresholds, selectable through logic inputs, and provides sequence timing adjustable via external capacitors.
This supervisor IC features a wide operating voltage range of 2.2V to 28V. It supports 9 selectable threshold options, including fixed thresholds for common voltages like 3.3V, 2.5V, 1.8V, 1.5V, and 1.2V, as well as 1.5% accurate adjustable thresholds down to 0.5V. The reset timeout is internally fixed at a minimum of 140ms or can be adjusted externally.
Each monitored input has an independent enable input. The outputs are available in push-pull or open-drain configurations, with the open-drain version supporting voltages up to 28V for interfacing with DC-DC regulators. The device can operate as four independent supervisory circuits or be daisy-chained for controlled power-supply sequencing. A reset function deasserts only after all monitored voltages exceed their thresholds.
The MAX16029TG+T is supplied in a compact 4mm x 4mm TQFN package, making it suitable for space-constrained designs. It is fully specified for operation over an extended temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
