MAX16006ETG+

The MAX16006ETG+ is an octal-voltage microprocessor supervisor from Analog Devices, designed to provide supervisory functions for complex multivoltage systems. This device monitors up to eight different voltage rails, offering flexibility with selectable threshold combinations for voltages like 5V, 3.3V, 3V, 2.5V, 1.8V, 1.5V, 1.2V, and 0.9V, and can monitor voltages down to 0.4V with adjustable thresholds.

Key features include an active-low reset output that asserts when monitored voltages fall below their respective thresholds or when the manual reset input is asserted. The reset timeout is internally set to a minimum of 140ms or can be adjusted with an external capacitor. The MAX16006ETG+ also includes a watchdog timer with a typical timeout period of 1.6 seconds, which can assert a reset if the watchdog timeout is exceeded. The outputs are open-drain with internal 30μA pullups, reducing the need for external components, and can be driven with external voltages up to 5.5V.

This supervisor is housed in a compact 24-TQFN (4x4mm) package, suitable for surface mounting. It operates across a wide temperature range of -40°C to 125°C, making it suitable for demanding applications in storage equipment, servers, and networking/telecommunication equipment.
