MAX15301ETJ+

The MAX15301ETJ+ is a highly efficient, digital point-of-load (PoL) controller from Analog Devices, utilizing Maxim's patented InTune™ automatically compensated, state-space control algorithm. This controller is designed for advanced power management and telemetry, offering fast loop transient response and reduced output capacitance compared to traditional PID-based controllers.

Key electrical specifications include a wide input voltage range of 4.5V to 14V and a configurable switching frequency from 300kHz to 1MHz. It supports essential control features such as current limit, enable, and power good signals, and communicates via a PMBus-compliant serial interface. The device also features differential remote voltage sensing for enhanced accuracy.

Packaged in a 32-lead TQFN (5x5mm) with a surface mount type, the MAX15301ETJ+ operates within an ambient temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. Its design incorporates an efficient on-chip BabyBuck regulator for self-bias and a high-efficiency MOSFET gate driver with adjustable nonoverlap timing and load-variable gate-drive voltage to minimize switching losses.
