The MAX15062AATA+T from Analog Devices (formerly Maxim Integrated) is a high-efficiency, high-voltage, synchronous step-down DC-DC converter. It integrates MOSFETs and operates over a wide 4.5V to 60V input voltage range, making it suitable for various industrial applications.
This converter delivers up to 300mA of output current at a fixed 3.3V. It features peak-current-mode control and can operate in either pulse-width modulation (PWM) or pulse-frequency modulation (PFM) modes, selectable via a MODE pin. PFM mode enhances light-load efficiency, while PWM mode provides constant frequency operation.
The device operates within a -40°C to +125°C ambient temperature range and is available in a compact 8-pin (2mm x 2mm) TDFN package. Key features include internal compensation, internal soft-start, and an EN/UVLO pin for programmable input voltage turn-on. An open-drain RESET pin is available for output voltage monitoring.
