The MAX14850ASE+T is a six-channel digital isolator designed by Analog Devices / Maxim Integrated. It utilizes proprietary process technology for a compact and low-cost transfer of digital signals between circuits with different power domains, enabling low power consumption and stable high-temperature performance.
This isolator features four unidirectional channels capable of DC to 50Mbps and two bidirectional open-drain channels capable of DC to 2Mbps. It provides 600VRMS isolation for 60 seconds and 200VRMS working isolation voltage for 50 years. Independent 3.0V to 5.5V supplies on each side make it suitable for level translation.
The MAX14850ASE+T is ideal for isolating SPI buses, I2C buses, RS-232, RS-485/RS-422 buses, and general-purpose isolation. Applications include industrial control systems, telecommunication systems, battery management, and medical systems.
Available in a 16-SOIC package, this device is specified for operation over the -40°C to +125°C temperature range. It is suitable for surface mount applications.
