The MAX1414CAI+ is a low-power, general-purpose, multichannel data acquisition system (DAS) from Analog Devices, optimized for low-power applications. It operates from a single +2.7V to +3.6V power supply, consuming a maximum of 1.15mA in Run mode and only 2.5µA in Sleep mode.
This device features a 16-bit Sigma-Delta ADC with a typical integral nonlinearity of ±1.5 LSB and a continuous conversion rate of 30Hz or 60Hz. It supports gains of +1/3, +1, or +2 V/V and can operate in unipolar or bipolar modes. The MAX1414CAI+ includes two 10-bit force/sense DACs and a buffered 1.25V bandgap reference output with an 18ppm/°C temperature coefficient.
It offers system support functions such as an RTC, alarm, high-frequency PLL clock output (2.4576MHz), reset and power-supply voltage monitors, a signal detect comparator with a 50mV trip threshold, and an interrupt generator. The serial interface is SPI/QSPI or MICROWIRE-compatible.
The MAX1414CAI+ is available in a space-saving 28-pin SSOP package and is suitable for surface mounting. Its operating temperature range is 0°C to 70°C.
