The MAX13058EETI+ from Analog Devices (Maxim Integrated) is an 8-channel, bidirectional level translator ideal for multivoltage systems requiring data transfer between different logic levels. It supports a guaranteed data rate of 100Mbps, making it suitable for high-speed applications.
The device operates with VCC voltages from +2.2V to +3.6V and VL voltages from +1.62V to +3.2V, enabling seamless communication between low-voltage ASICs/PLDs and higher voltage systems. Each I/O channel is pulled up to VCC or VL by an internal 40µA current source, allowing compatibility with both push-pull and open-drain drivers sourcing 4mA or larger.
Features include an enable (EN) input for low-power shutdown mode and an automatic shutdown mode that disables the part when VCC is less than VL.
