The MAX110ACPE is a low-cost, 2-channel, ±14-bit serial Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) from Analog Devices, part of the MAX110/MAX111 series. It utilizes an internal auto-calibration technique to achieve 14-bit resolution plus overrange without external components.
Key electrical specifications include 2 differential input channels, a 14-bit resolution, and a sampling rate of up to 50 conversions per second. The device supports an SPI data interface and operates with ±5V supplies. It offers a linearity of 0.03% and features 50Hz/60Hz rejection.
Designed for high-resolution, battery-powered, or remote-sensing applications, the MAX110ACPE consumes only 550µA in normal operation and reduces to 4µA in power-down mode. The internal calibration corrects for offset and gain errors under microprocessor control.
This ADC is available in a 16-pin DIP (Dual In-line Package) with Through Hole mounting. Its compact package and low power consumption make it suitable for process control, weigh scales, panel meters, data-acquisition systems, and temperature measurement applications.
