MAT14ARZ-R7

The MAT14ARZ-R7 from Analog Devices is a quad monolithic NPN transistor array offering excellent parametric matching for precision amplifier and nonlinear circuit applications. It provides high current gain (300 minimum) over a wide range of collector current, low noise (3 nV/√Hz maximum at 100 Hz, 1 mA), and excellent logarithmic conformance. The device also features a low offset voltage of 100 µV typical and tight current gain matching to within 4%.

This transistor array operates at a voltage of 40V and a current of 3nA, with a frequency response up to 300MHz. The Vce saturation is specified at 60mV maximum at 100µA and 1mA. It is designed for a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C (TA).

The MAT14ARZ-R7 is housed in a 14-SOIC package with surface mount mounting type. Its applications include low noise op amp front ends, current mirrors, current sinks/sources, low noise instrumentation amplifiers, voltage-controlled attenuators, and log amplifiers.

Each transistor in the MAT14 is individually tested to datasheet specifications. Matching parameters such as offset voltage, input offset current, and gain match are verified to meet stated limits for dual transistor combinations. The long-term stability of matching parameters is ensured by protection diodes across the base-emitter junction of each transistor.
