The MACOM MASWSS0129TR-3000 is a broadband GaAs PHEMT MMIC diversity switch operating from DC to 6.0 GHz. It is designed for applications requiring small size and low cost, such as WLAN IEEE 802.11a and 802.11b/g systems that utilize two antennas for transmit and receive diversity. Other applications include cordless phones and base stations.
This DPDT switch features a low insertion loss of 0.7 dB at 2.4 GHz and 1.0 dB at 4.9 to 6.0 GHz. It provides high isolation of 43 dB at 2.4 GHz and 30 dB at 4.9 to 6.0 GHz. The switch has a fast switching speed and is fabricated using a 0.5 micron gate length GaAs PHEMT process.
The MASWSS0129TR-3000 is supplied in a lead-free 3 mm 12-lead PQFN package with 100% matte tin plating over copper. It is halogen-free and 260°C reflow compatible, meeting RoHS compliance. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C.
