The MAAL-011078 is a high dynamic range, single-stage MMIC Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) designed by MACOM Technology Solutions for operation from 0.01 GHz to 6 GHz. It features an ultra-low noise figure of 0.35 dB at 1.9 GHz and 0.50 dB at 2.6 GHz, coupled with high gain up to 22 dB at 2.6 GHz and 15 dB at 6.0 GHz.
This amplifier boasts excellent linearity with an output third-order intercept point (OIP3) of 33 dBm. It operates on a single voltage bias from 3 V to 5 V and includes an integrated active bias circuit for stable performance over temperature and process variations. The bias current is adjustable from 30 mA to 80 mA, allowing customization of power consumption.
The MAAL-011078 is housed in a lead-free 2 mm 8-lead PDFN plastic package, suitable for surface mount applications. Its design makes it ideal for 5G & 4G cellular infrastructure and Wi-Fi applications requiring high performance and reliability.
