The Banner Engineering MA3-4 is a versatile modulated amplifier from the MICRO-AMP system, offering high-performance photoelectric sensing in a compact form factor. Designed for use with Banner's SP100 Series miniature remote sensors, it provides an NPN current sinking output and operates on DC power.
This amplifier module is track mountable for ease of installation and replacement, and can also be mounted directly to a printed circuit board, making it suitable for OEM sensing applications. It features an output indicator for system monitoring, and includes Banner's exclusive AID indicator system. The MICRO-AMP system is ideal for use with computers or programmable logic controllers (PLCs), fitting neatly into tight spaces within machines or control panels.
Available sensing modes include opposed, retro-reflective, diffuse, convergent, and fixed-field. Logic modules for functions such as one-shot, 4-input gates (AND, NOR, XNOR), latch, and delay can be added to build complex control logic.
