The M83723/83R1412N is a panel mount circular connector receptacle from Conesys, part of the MIL-DTL-83723 Series III family. It features 12 power contacts with gold plating, a threaded coupling mechanism, and an aluminum shell with electroless nickel finish. The connector is designed for rear panel mounting with a flange and incorporates a rear-release contact retention system.
Electrical ratings include dual current capabilities of 7.5A and 13A, likely corresponding to different contact sizes. The operating temperature range spans -65°C to 200°C, making it suitable for extreme environments. The connector is environment resistant and uses crimp termination for secure wire attachment.
As a MIL-DTL-83723 Series III connector, it is intermateable with bayonet and threaded 26500 connectors (except shell size 8). These connectors are widely used in commercial, military, and aerospace systems requiring general-purpose, miniature cylindrical coupling.
