The housing is made from high-temperature plastic rated to 295°C, making it compatible with lead-free soldering processes.

 

The connector uses a latch holder fastening type for secure mating and requires a tool to separate mated connectors. The free hanging (in-line) mounting style allows flexible cable-to-cable or cable-to-board connections in dense electronic assemblies.
