The STMicroelectronics M74HCT540RM13TR is an advanced high-speed CMOS octal bus buffer with 3-state outputs. It is designed to interface directly with TTL and NMOS components.
This buffer features a supply voltage range of 4.5V to 5.5V and operates over a temperature range of -55°C to 125°C. Key electrical characteristics include a low propagation delay of 12ns (typical) at 4.5V, a low supply current of 4μA maximum, and symmetrical output impedance with a minimum of 6mA for both IOH and IOL.
The device is available in a 20-SOIC package and is suitable for surface mount applications. All inputs are equipped with protection circuits against static discharge and transient excess voltage.
