The Harwin M40-6005146R is a 51-position male plug connector from the M40 series of fine-pitch board-to-board connectors. It features a double-row straight SMT design with a 1.00mm (0.039") pitch, making it suitable for high-density interconnections. The connector has a polarized housing with location pegs for accurate PCB placement and SMT hold-down tabs for enhanced strain relief. Contacts are arranged in staggered rows with 26 contacts on one side and 25 on the other.

The connector is rated for a current of 1A per contact with a maximum contact resistance of 20mΩ. It can withstand 500V AC/DC for 1 minute and has a minimum insulation resistance of 1000MΩ. The operating temperature range is -40°C to +105°C. The housing is made of high-temperature thermoplastic with UL94V-0 flammability rating, and the contacts are copper alloy with 80.0µin (2.03µm) tin plating.

The package includes features such as board guide, pick-and-place pad, and solder retention for reliable automated assembly. It is supplied in tape and reel packaging suitable for high-volume production. The mated stacking height is 4.3mm, and the height above board is 0.130" (3.30mm).
