The NuMicro® M252ZD2AE is a low-power microcontroller designed for IoT applications, built on the Arm® Cortex®-M23 core for the Armv8-M architecture. It operates at speeds up to 48 MHz and includes 64 Kbytes of embedded Flash memory and 12 Kbytes of embedded SRAM. For In-System Programming (ISP), it offers 4 Kbytes of Flash loader memory (LDROM).
This microcontroller supports a wide supply voltage range from 1.8V to 5.5V and an operating temperature range of -40°C to +105°C. It exhibits low power consumption in various modes, including Normal Run (138 μA/MHz at 48 MHz), Idle (60 μA/MHz), Power Down (2.5 μA with RTC on, 1.7 μA with RTC off), and Deep Power-down.
Key features include 4 channels of Nuvoton's proprietary Programmable Serial I/O (PSIO) for emulating serial protocols, and a Voltage Adjustable Interface (VAI) with 4 I/O pins supporting a second I/O voltage from 1.65V to 5.5V. Security is enhanced with a 1-region programmable eXecute-Only-Memory (XOM), 96-bit Unique Identification (UID), and 128-bit Unique Customer Identification (UCID).
