The M22-1910005 is a 2-position female jumper socket from Harwin's M22 series, featuring a 2.00mm pitch and open top design. It is rated for 2A maximum current at 25°C ambient and 250V DC nominal or AC peak working voltage at sea level. The housing is molded from glass-filled polyester with UL94 V-0 flammability rating and colored blue. Contacts are phosphor bronze with selective gold plating on the contact area, providing low contact resistance of 15mΩ maximum initial. Insulation resistance is 1000MΩ minimum initial. The operating temperature range is -40°C to +85°C.
This jumper socket is designed for interconnecting two adjacent 0.50mm square or round pins on 2mm pitch centers. It can be mounted side by side in either direction on 2mm pitch centers. The open top allows access to the contact for probing, making it suitable for programming and configuration applications as an alternative to DIP switches. Durability is rated at 300 mating cycles minimum for gold contacts. Insertion force is 10N maximum and withdrawal force is 1N maximum. Clip retention in housing is 5N minimum.
The component is RoHS3 compliant and has an MSL of 1 (unlimited). It is intended for high-reliability multi-usage applications where a reliable shorting connection is required.
