The M20-9980445 is a 2.54mm (0.1") pitch male pin header from Harwin's M20 series. It features 8 contacts arranged in 2 rows (4+4) in a through-hole vertical mounting configuration. The unshrouded header uses square brass pins with gold contact finish for reliable electrical performance. The body is molded from high-temperature polyamide (PA6T) with UL94 V-0 flammability rating.
Each contact is rated for 3A maximum current, with an initial contact resistance of 20mΩ max. The insulation resistance is 500MΩ min, and the connector withstands 500V AC dielectric for 1 minute. Operating temperature ranges from -40°C to 105°C, with a vibration range of 50-2,000Hz. The connector uses push-pull fastening and can be cut to smaller pin counts using the M20 Hand Cutting Tool (Z1022-00).
Designed for board-to-board or cable-to-board interconnections, this header is RoHS3 compliant (unverified) and REACH unaffected. The solder termination and through-hole mounting ensure robust mechanical attachment. Gold finish provides corrosion resistance and repeated mating cycles.
