The M20-8761042 is a 20 position (10+10) dual row male pin header from Harwin's M20 series. It features a 2.54mm pitch and 2.54mm row spacing. The header is unshrouded with a push-pull fastening type and is designed for surface mount soldering. The mating pin length is 5.8mm and the insulation height is 2.54mm. The contact material is brass with a gold+tin finish (gold on contact area, tin on termination). The header can be cut to a smaller number of contacts using the M20 Hand Cutting Tool Z1022-00.
The insulation is made of black polyamide (PA6T, Nylon 6T) with UL94 V-0 flammability rating. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 105°C. The current rating is 3A per contact and voltage rating is 250V. Initial contact resistance is 20mΩ maximum, and after conditioning is 30mΩ maximum. Dielectric withstanding voltage is 500V AC minimum, and insulation resistance is 500MΩ minimum.
This connector is suitable for board-to-board or cable applications. The surface mount termination allows for automated assembly. The M20 series is a versatile 2.54mm pitch connector system with a variety of configurations.
