The Harwin M20-8760842 is a 16-position (8+8) double row straight surface mount male pin header from the M20 series. It features a 2.54mm (0.100") pitch and is designed for board-to-board or cable interconnections. The connector has a black polyamide (PA6T) insulator (UL94 V-0) and brass contacts with gold finish on the mating area and tin finish on the termination.
Electrical ratings include a current rating of 3A per contact and a voltage rating of 250V. The connector operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 105°C and has an insulation resistance of 500MΩ minimum. Contact resistance is 20mΩ maximum initially and 30mΩ maximum after conditioning.
The connector is unshrouded with a push-pull fastening type. It is supplied loose packaged and can be cut to a smaller number of contacts using the M20 Hand Cutting Tool Z1022-00. The total contact length is 5.80mm (0.228") with an insulation height of 2.54mm (0.100").
