The Harwin M20-7872042 is a 40-position (20+20) double row female socket receptacle from the M20 series. It features a 2.54mm (0.1") pitch with 2.54mm row spacing, a 7.5mm insulation height, and surface mount termination with solder contacts. The connector supports dual entry (top or bottom) and uses a push-pull fastening type. The housing is black UL94 V-0 rated thermoplastic. Electrically, it is rated for 3A per contact and 1000V, with a contact resistance of 20mΩ max initial and 30mΩ after conditioning, dielectric withstanding voltage of 1000V AC, and insulation resistance of 1000MΩ min. Operating temperature ranges from -40°C to 105°C. Contact material is copper alloy, with gold finish on the contact area and tin on the terminations. Mated stacking heights of 10.04mm and 11.63mm are supported. The style is suitable for board-to-board or cable connections. It is RoHS3 compliant, REACH unaffected, and rated MSL 1.
