The Vicor M-FIAM7BHF1 is a DC front-end module designed to provide essential EMI filtering and transient protection for power systems. It enables designers to meet stringent conducted emission and susceptibility standards like MIL-STD-461E, as well as input transient requirements per MIL-STD-1275, MIL-STD-704, and DO-160E.
This module accepts a wide input voltage range of 14 Vdc to 50 Vdc and can deliver an output power of up to 400 W. It features an efficiency of 96-98% and an internal voltage drop of 0.5-0.7V at 25A and 100°C baseplate temperature.
The M-FIAM7BHF1 is housed in an industry-standard half brick package measuring 2.28" x 2.2" x 0.5". It offers low-profile mounting options suitable for height-critical applications and is compatible with Vicor's 28V DC-DC V•I Chip and VIBRICK modules. Note that it is not compatible with Maxi, Mini, or Micro DC-DC converters.
Key features include inrush current limiting and an ON/OFF control for power management. The module operates within a temperature range of -55°C to +100°C.
The continuous input voltage range is 14 to 50 Vdc.
The maximum output power is 400 W.
The operating temperature range is -55°C to +100°C.
It is available in a half brick package.
It meets MIL-STD-1275A/B/D, MIL-STD-704A, and DO-160E Section 16 Category Z.
The efficiency ranges from 96% to 98%.
