The Power Integrations LXA08T600 is a high-performance PFC diode from the Qspeed™ X-Series family. It offers a 600V repetitive reverse voltage rating and an average forward current of 8A. This diode is designed with advanced silicon technology to achieve the lowest QRR of any 600V silicon diode, leading to increased efficiency, reduced EMI, and the elimination of snubbers.
Key electrical specifications include a typical forward voltage of 2.1V at 8A and 150°C, and a maximum forward voltage of 2.94V at 8A and 25°C. The reverse recovery time (trr) is as low as 34 ns at 25°C, with a reverse recovery charge (QRR) of 48 nC. Its high dIF/dt capability of 1000 A/μs enables extremely fast switching.
The LXA08T600 is housed in a TO-220AC package, suitable for through-hole mounting. It operates at a maximum junction temperature of 150°C and has a junction-to-case thermal resistance of 1.5 °C/W. The device is RoHS3 compliant, lead-free, and halogen-free.
