The Texas Instruments LVC157A is a quadruple 2-line to 1-line data selector/multiplexer. It is designed for operation with a VCC range of 1.65V to 3.6V. The device features a common strobe (G) input. When the strobe is high, all outputs are low. When the strobe is low, a 4-bit word is selected from one of two sources and routed to the four outputs, providing true data.
Key electrical characteristics include a maximum propagation delay of 5.2 ns at 3.3V. Input voltages up to 5.5V are accepted. The device also exhibits low output ground bounce (<0.8V typical) and VOH undershoot (>2V typical) at 3.3V and 25°C.
This multiplexer is available in various packages including D, DB, NS, PW, RGY, J, W, and FK, supporting both surface mount and through-hole mounting types. It is specified for operation across a wide temperature range, from -40°C to 85°C, -40°C to 125°C, and -55°C to 125°C, making it suitable for diverse environmental conditions.
