The LV8907UW is a high-performance, sensorless three-phase Brushless DC (BLDC) motor controller with predrivers for automotive applications. It offers a wide operating voltage range from 5.5 V to 20 V and can withstand junction temperatures up to 175°C.
This device integrates a two-stage charge pump for gate current and provides a rich set of system protection and diagnostic functions. It supports both open-loop and closed-loop speed control with user-configurable parameters. The LV8907UW includes a built-in linear regulator, a watchdog timer, and a LIN transceiver, enabling a compact system solution.
System parameters are stored in embedded one-time-programmable (OTP) non-volatile memory and RAM. An SPI interface is provided for parameter setting and system status monitoring. The controller is suitable for stand-alone BLDC motor control systems.
Packaged in a 48-SQFP (7x7) with an exposed pad, the LV8907UW is designed for surface mount applications. Its features make it ideal for various automotive motor control needs.
