The ON Semiconductor LV88561RTXG is a single-phase, full-wave pre-driver for 24V/48V BLDC motors, featuring a closed-loop speed controller. It supports speed control via PWM duty input from 25 Hz to 100 kHz. The device includes soft start-up and soft switching functions, as well as built-in protection circuits for current limiting, thermal shutdown, and locked rotor conditions with auto-recovery.
This motor driver is designed for applications requiring low vibration and low noise motor control. Lead-angle adjustment is possible via external pins, allowing for independent configuration of lead-angle value and slant for optimized efficiency and noise reduction with various motors. Motor speed setting is adjustable using an external resistor.
