The light sensor offers a wide dynamic range from 0.01 lux to 64k lux with a 16-bit effective resolution, closely matching human eye spectral response and automatically rejecting 50/60 Hz lighting flicker. The proximity sensor includes a built-in LED driver, emitter, and detector, providing an 11-bit effective resolution and high ambient light suppression.

 

Designed for low voltage operation, the LTR-553ALS-WA operates from 2.4V to 3.6V and includes a built-in temperature compensation circuit. It supports an interrupt feature to improve system efficiency by eliminating the need for constant polling. The sensor is RoHS and Halogen free compliant.
