The LTM4671IY#PBF is a quad DC/DC step-down µModule (micromodule) regulator from Analog Devices. It integrates switching controllers, power FETs, inductors, and support components into a compact 16mm × 9.5mm × 4.72mm BGA package. The device provides two 12A output channels adjustable from 0.6V to 3.3V and two 5A output channels adjustable from 0.6V to 5.5V, each set by a single external resistor.
Operating over a wide input voltage range of 3.1V to 20V, the LTM4671 is suitable for multi-rail point-of-load regulation in commercial ITE equipment, FPGAs, DSPs, and ASICs. Features include remote sense, selectable Burst Mode operation, output voltage tracking, external frequency synchronization, and internal temperature sensing diode output. Fault protection covers overvoltage, overcurrent, and overtemperature conditions.
The module is surface mountable in a 209-BFBGA package with a 16mm × 9.5mm footprint. Only bulk input and output capacitors are required for operation. The LTM4671IY#PBF is listed as RoHS3 compliant (unverified) and has an MSL of Level 1 (unlimited).
