The LTM4623IY#PBF is a complete 3A step-down switching mode µModule (micromodule) regulator from Analog Devices. It integrates the switching controller, power FETs, inductor, and support components into a tiny 6.25mm × 6.25mm × 2.42mm BGA package.
Operating over an input voltage range of 4V to 20V (or down to 2.375V with an external bias supply), the LTM4623 supports an output voltage range of 0.6V to 5.5V set by a single external resistor. Its current mode control architecture provides fast transient response to line and load changes.
The module includes comprehensive protection features: overcurrent protection (OCP), overtemperature protection (OTP), overvoltage protection (OVP), and undervoltage lockout (UVLO). Additional features include a power good indicator, external frequency synchronization, multiphase operation with current sharing, output voltage tracking, and selectable discontinuous mode.
Designed for surface mount assembly, the LTM4623IY#PBF is suitable for commercial ITE applications and operates over a -40°C to 125°C temperature range.
