The LTM4618EV#PBF is a complete 6A output switch mode DC/DC power supply in a compact µModule package. It includes the switching controller, power FETs, inductor, and support components, operating from an input voltage range of 4.5V to 26.5V. The output voltage is adjustable from 0.8V to 5V via a single external resistor. The high efficiency design delivers 6A continuous current (8A peak). The device supports frequency synchronization and output voltage tracking, making it suitable for supply rail sequencing in complex systems. Protection features include overvoltage, overcurrent, and short-circuit protection. The module is available in a 84-BLGA (15mm x 9mm x 4.3mm) surface mount package and operates over -40°C to 125°C.
