The LTM4616EY#PBF is a complete dual 2-phase 8A per channel switch mode DC/DC power regulator system in a 15mm × 15mm surface mount BGA package. It integrates the switching controller, power FETs, inductor, and all support components. Operating from an input voltage range of 2.7V to 5.5V, the module supports two outputs within a voltage range of 0.6V to 5V, each set by a single external resistor. The design delivers up to 8A continuous current (10A peak) for each output and can be configured for a single 16A output. The module features overcurrent, overvoltage, and thermal shutdown protection. It is suitable for high-density point-of-load regulation in commercial ITE applications. The package measures 15.0mm x 15.0mm x 3.4mm and is surface mountable.
