The LTM4615EV#PBF is a complete triple output DC/DC µModule regulator from Analog Devices (formerly Linear Technology). It integrates dual 4A switching buck converters and a 1.5A very low dropout (VLDO) linear regulator in a single 15mm x 15mm x 2.8mm LGA package. The switching regulators operate from an input voltage of 2.375V to 5.5V and can deliver 4A DC (5A peak) each, with output voltages adjustable from 0.8V to 5V. The VLDO regulator operates from a 1.14V to 3.5V input and provides a 1.5A output adjustable from 0.4V to 2.6V.
The module uses current mode control for fast transient response and includes output voltage tracking for supply rail sequencing. Efficiency is up to 95%, minimizing power loss in space-constrained applications. Protection features include overvoltage protection, overcurrent protection, thermal shutdown, and programmable soft-start. Power good indicators are provided for each output.
The LTM4615EV#PBF is designed for high density point-of-load regulation in telecom, networking, industrial, and FPGA/SERDES power systems. Its low profile (2.82mm) allows mounting on the bottom of PCBs to save space. Only bulk input and output capacitors are required to complete the design.
The device is RoHS compliant with a Pb-free finish and operates over a -40°C to 125°C temperature range. It is available in a 144-BLGA (LGA) package.
