The LTM4609EV#PBF is a high efficiency switching mode buck-boost power supply from Analog Devices. It is a Non-Isolated PoL Module that integrates the switching controller, power FETs, and support components in a compact 141-LGA package. Operating over an input voltage range of 4.5V to 36V, it supports an output voltage range of 0.8V to 34V, set by a single resistor. This design delivers up to 4A continuous current in boost mode and up to 10A in buck mode, with efficiency up to 98%.
The module features current mode control for fast transient response to line and load changes, and can be frequency synchronized with an external clock from 200kHz to 400kHz to reduce harmonics. Protection features include overcurrent protection (OCP), overvoltage protection (OVP), and undervoltage lockout (UVLO). A power good output signal is also provided.
