LTC3874IUFD#TRPBF

The LTC3874IUFD#TRPBF is a dual PolyPhase current mode synchronous step-down slave controller designed for high current, multi-phase applications. It extends the phase count when paired with a companion master controller, enabling accurate phase-to-phase current sharing even for dynamic loads. This controller utilizes a unique architecture that enhances the signal-to-noise ratio of the current sense signal, allowing the use of sub-milliohm DCR power inductors for maximum efficiency and reduced switching jitter.

Key electrical specifications include a wide input voltage range from 4.5V to 38V. The output voltage range can be up to 3.5V when the LOWDCR pin is at INTVCC, or up to 5.5V when the LOWDCR pin is at OV. It supports phase-lockable fixed frequencies from 250kHz to 1MHz and can operate up to 12 phases. The controller features sub-milliohm DCR current sensing capabilities, with typical sensing resistance values of 0.32mΩ and 1.5mΩ.
