The LTC3407AEDD#TRPBF is a dual, constant frequency, synchronous step-down DC/DC converter manufactured by Linear Technology. It is designed for low power applications, operating from an input voltage range of 2.5V to 5.5V. The converter features a constant switching frequency of 1.5MHz, contributing to excellent line and load transient response. It offers high efficiency of up to 96% and low ripple of 35mVP-P. The device supports output voltages from 0.6V up to 5V, with each output capable of delivering 0.6A. Internal switches with low RDS(ON) of 0.35Ω eliminate the need for external Schottky diodes. The LTC3407AEDD#TRPBF also includes features such as Burst Mode operation for low quiescent current (40µA), ultralow shutdown current, short-circuit protection, and 100% duty cycle low dropout operation. It is available in a thermally enhanced MSOP package.
