The LTC1520CS#PBF is a high-speed, precision differential line receiver manufactured by Analog Devices Inc. It is designed to operate at data rates as high as 50Mbps, making it suitable for demanding interface applications.
A unique architecture ensures very stable propagation delays, with a typical value of 18ns ±3ns, and low skew characteristics, including tPLH/tPHL skew of 500ps and channel-to-channel skew of 400ps. Each receiver translates differential input levels (VID ≥ 100mV) into valid CMOS and TTL output levels.
With a high input resistance (≥18kΩ), multiple receivers can be connected to a single driver. The device offers protection features such as thermal shutdown and controlled short-circuit current. It operates from a single 5V supply and consumes 12mA of supply current. The receiver outputs enter a high impedance state when disabled, and the input resistance remains high even when unpowered or disabled, allowing for hot-swapping into backplanes without loading data lines.
The LTC1520CS#PBF is available in a 16-lead narrow SO package, designed for surface mount applications.
