The LTC1064-2MJ/883C is a versatile Quad Universal Filter Building Block designed by Analog Devices, Inc. Each building block, when combined with an external clock and resistors, can implement various second-order filter functions including lowpass, highpass, bandpass, and notch filters. The center frequency is tunable via an external clock or a clock-to-resistor ratio.
This component supports a maximum center frequency of 140kHz for Q values less than or equal to 3, and up to 100kHz for Q values less than or equal to 5. It can achieve up to 8th order filters by cascading the four available sections, allowing for classical filter realizations like Butterworth, Cauer, Bessel, and Chebyshev. The maximum clock frequency is 7MHz.
The LTC1064-2MJ/883C is housed in a CDIP14 package and operates within a power supply range of ±2.375V to ±8V. It features low offsets and low harmonic distortion, making it suitable for applications such as anti-aliasing filters, tracking filters, spectral analysis, and loop filters.
