The LT8608EMSE#TRPBF from Analog Devices is a compact, high-efficiency, high-speed synchronous monolithic step-down switching regulator. It consumes a low quiescent current of 1.7µA and can deliver up to 1.5A of continuous current.
This regulator features a wide input voltage range from 3.0V to 42V, making it suitable for various applications. Its low ripple Burst Mode operation ensures high efficiency down to very low output currents while maintaining an output ripple below 10mV. The device operates at a typical switching frequency of 2MHz and can be synchronized from 200kHz to 2.2MHz.
Designed for ease of use, the LT8608EMSE#TRPBF includes internal compensation and peak current mode topology, allowing for the use of small inductors and fast transient response. The EN/UV pin has an accurate 1V threshold for programming undervoltage lockout or shutdown. The PG flag indicates when the output voltage is within ±8.5% of the programmed value or signals fault conditions.
Available in a 10-lead MSOP package, this regulator is designed for surface mount applications. It is well-suited for general-purpose step-down and low EMI step-down applications.
