The LT3466EFE#TRPBF from Analog Devices is a versatile dual step-up DC/DC converter specifically engineered for driving white LEDs. It can power up to 20 LEDs, with 10 in series per converter, from a 2.7V to 24V input supply, delivering up to 44V output.
This device features two independent converters capable of driving asymmetric LED strings, each with independent dimming and shutdown control. The internal Schottky diodes and soft-start circuitry contribute to its efficiency, which can reach 81% when driving 16 LEDs at 15mA from a 3.6V supply.
