The LT3045EDD#PBF is a high-performance, ultralow noise, ultrahigh PSRR linear regulator from Analog Devices. Designed for noise-sensitive applications, it features a precision current reference followed by a voltage buffer, allowing for easy paralleling to reduce noise and increase output current.
This adjustable LDO regulator supplies up to 500mA with a low dropout voltage of 260mV typical at 500mA. It operates with an input voltage range of 1.8V to 20V and offers a wide output voltage range from 0V to 15V. Key electrical features include ultralow RMS noise of 0.8µVRMS (10Hz to 100kHz), ultralow spot noise of 2nV/√Hz at 10kHz, and ultrahigh PSRR of 76dB at 1MHz. The device also includes programmable current limit, fast start-up capability, and programmable power good indication.
The LT3045EDD#PBF is stable with a minimum 10µF ceramic output capacitor and includes built-in protection features such as reverse-battery protection, reverse-current protection, internal current limit with foldback, and thermal limit with hysteresis. It is available in a 10-lead 3mm x 3mm DFN package suitable for surface mounting.
