The LT1761ES5-BYP#TRPBF is a micropower, low noise, low dropout linear voltage regulator designed for battery-powered systems. It operates over an input voltage range of 1.8V to 20V and can supply up to 100mA of output current with a low dropout voltage of 300mV at 100mA.
Key features include very low quiescent current of 20μA, which drops to less than 0.1μA in shutdown mode, and low output noise of 20μVRMS over a 10Hz to 100kHz bandwidth. The regulator is stable with output capacitors as low as 1μF, including ceramic types without required series resistance.
Internal protection circuitry includes reverse battery protection, current limiting, and thermal limiting. The device is available in fixed output voltages or as an adjustable version with a 1.22V reference. It is supplied in a compact 5-lead TSOT-23 package, suitable for surface mount applications.
